Chapel Hill had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Pinecrest on Thursday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patriots. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-9.

Chapel Hill was led to victory by Ainsley Stanley and Leila Tooloee. Stanley had six digs and two aces, while Tooloee had 13 assists.
