Softball Recap: Redwood Christian Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Redwood Christian's offense. They came up short against the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots on Tuesday, falling 13-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Redwood Christian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for St. Joseph Notre Dame, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Redwood Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe University at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Joseph Notre Dame will square off against rival Lick-Wilmerding at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
