Baseball Recap: Logan County Cougars vs. Ohio County Eagles        
        
		
            
 Logan County won against McLean County  last Monday with eight  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Friday. The Logan County Cougars blew past the Ohio County Eagles 8-1. Winning may never get old, but Logan County sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
  Braden Engler tossed a big game,   tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Noah Mosley was  excellent,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kade Wall, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 Logan County's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Ohio County, they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-12.
 Logan County will be playing in front of their home fans against Daviess County at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Daviess County will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Logan County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ohio County, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Muhlenberg County at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday.
