Football Recap: St. Charles Takes a Loss

After soaring to 41 points the game before, St. Charles was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They had to suffer through a 48-12 loss at the hands of the Merrill Vandals. The Bulldogs were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Merrill, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, St. Charles will head out on the road to square off against Carson City-Crystal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Merrill, they will host Potterville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
