Baseball Game Preview: Cypress Creek Bears vs. Boone Braves

The Cypress Creek Bears will face off against the Boone Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Things were looking good for Cypress Creek after they put the first points on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gateway.

Cypress Creek saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesus Barreto, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Boone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-3 to West Orange.

Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cypress Creek, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Cypress Creek came out on top in a nail-biter against Boone when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 2-0. Will Cypress Creek repeat their success, or does Boone have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
