While Foothills Christian's win against Calvin Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights' pitcher stepped up to hand the Crusaders a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won five in a row.

Not much got past Johannes Jansen Granillo, who gave up just four hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Calvin Christian off the board. Jansen Granillo has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 12 consecutive appearances.
