Basketball Recap: Dickinson Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Legacy

On Monday, Dickinson faced Legacy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Dickinson Midgets took an 82-72 hit to the loss column at the hands of Legacy. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Legacy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 79-55 back in January.

Dickinson has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season. As for Legacy, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.

While Dickinson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
