Preview: Compass Charter Aviators vs. Marsing Huskies

The Compass Charter Aviators will be playing in front of their home fans against the Marsing Huskies at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Compass Charter and four for Marsing.

Last Monday, Compass Charter took a serious blow against The Ambrose School, falling 79-40. Compass Charter was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-21.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Grayson Skimmyhorn, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Bennett, who scored eight points.

Meanwhile, Marsing came up short against Cole Valley Christian on Monday and fell 56-45. Marsing has not had much luck with Cole Valley Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Compass Charter has not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Marsing, they dropped their record down to 7-13 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Compass Charter barely slipped by Marsing in their previous matchup back in January, winning 55-54. Will Compass Charter repeat their success, or does Marsing have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
