Basketball Recap: Mid Peninsula Takes a Loss

Mid Peninsula was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the North Central Jets, falling 51-21. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolverines of the 67-40 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Mid Peninsula's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for North Central, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mid Peninsula will venture away from home to square off against Superior Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mid Peninsula is facing Superior Central at the right time seeing as Superior Central is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for North Central, they are taking a road trip to face off against Forest Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
