Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jackson-Olin). They came out on top against the Minor Tigers by a score of 7-5 on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what Jackson-Olin needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Jackson-Olin's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4-1. As for Minor, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6-2.

Jackson-Olin and Minor will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time Jackson-Olin sees the pitch they'll take on Homewood at 6:30 p.m. on April 1. As for Minor, their break will end when they face Parker at 7:00 p.m. on April 1.
