Hialeah easily dispatched Dr. Krop back in December of 2024, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Hialeah Thoroughbreds fell just short of the Central Rockets by a score of 38-36 on Tuesday. The Thoroughbreds' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Hialeah lost, don't look at Zariah Louissaint. Despite the final result, she posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Krisha Rinville, who earned ten points.

Hialeah's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2. As for Central, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hialeah will venture away from home to take on Killian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Killian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Hialeah surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central, they will head out to square off against Northwestern at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
