Soccer Game Preview: Wilmot vs. Racine Park

Wilmot hasn't had much luck against Racine Park recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Wilmot will host Racine Park at 4:30 p.m.

Wilmot played against Richmond-Burton on Friday and lost via forfeit.

Racine Park took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Thursday. They never let Racine Case get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Racine Park, who have now won four matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Racine Park's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Wilmot, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Wilmot suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Racine Park in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can Wilmot avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
