Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Mckinney Boyd

Princeton typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday McKinney Boyd proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the Princeton Panthers 40-38. The win was all the more spectacular given the Broncos' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 294th, while the Panthers are ranked 62nd).

McKinney Boyd's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Princeton, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 18-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McKinney Boyd will square off against Plano West at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Princeton, they will challenge Rock Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
