Basketball Recap: Searsport Comes Up Short

Searsport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Sumner Tigers and fell 66-29. The matchup marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Searsport's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Sumner, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Searsport will be home for the holidays to greet Lee Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sumner, they will head out to face off against Narraguagus at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
