Volleyball Recap: Fabens Triumphs

Fabens won the last time they faced Mountain View and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Lobos by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Fabens had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-16.

Emma Ortiz paced Fabens' offense, picking up 19 kills. Ortiz got some help from Isabella Madrid and her 38 assists. Finally, Ortiz was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high eight blocks.
