Volleyball Recap: Corunna Triumphs

Corunna won the last time they faced Fulton and things went their way on Monday too. The Cavaliers came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 2-0.

Zoey Sellers-King paced Corunna's offense, picking up eight kills. Sellers-King got some help from Hailyn Dietz and her six assists. Dietz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Corunna's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Fulton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3-2 record this season.

Corunna has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Laingsburg on the 25th. As for Fulton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Brandon on the 25th.
