Soccer Game Preview: Redlands vs. Beaumont

Redlands hasn't had much luck against Beaumont recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Redlands Terriers will venture away from home to face off against the Beaumont Cougars at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Redlands is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to Yucaipa. While losing is never fun, the Terriers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1003rd, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 374th).

Meanwhile, Beaumont managed to keep up with Redlands East Valley until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Beaumont came up short against Redlands East Valley, falling 4-1.

Redlands' loss dropped their record down to 1-13-1. As for Beaumont, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-3-3.
