Volleyball Recap: Susquehanna Wins Going Away Against Forest City

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crestwood, Susquehanna was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Forest City Foresters as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Sabers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Foresters, too.

While Susquehanna won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-22.

Camryn Sellitto paced Susquehanna's offense, picking up eight kills. Sellitto got some help from Lauren Huyck and her 15 assists. Huyck was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Susquehanna's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Susquehanna wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Greater Nanticoke Area on the 2nd. Forest City has also already played their next contest (against West Scranton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
