Softball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry fell victim to Ada and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 27-0 to the Bulldogs. The Commodores have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Perry saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madelyn Bodine, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double. Sariah Robinson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Ada, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

Perry will be playing at home against Ridgedale at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ada, they will venture away from home to take on Van Buren at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
