Basketball Recap: Trillium Academy Takes a Loss

Trillium Academy was the 69-48 winner over Summerfield when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Trillium Academy fell 58-45 to the Summerfield Bulldogs on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Trillium Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while Summerfield is ranked 103rd).

Trillium Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Summerfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Summerfield beat Trillium Academy by a score of 58-45 on Monday.
