Softball Recap: Horizon Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mountain View on Thursday, Horizon came back down to earth. The Horizon Scorpions lost 23-5 to the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors on Friday. The Scorpions have struggled against the Desert Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Horizon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Santa Teresa, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Horizon will challenge Da Vinci at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Santa Teresa, they will head out on the road to take on Lovington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Teresa knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Lovington likes a good challenge.
