Softball Recap: Hudson Falls Short of Steele in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hudson can now relate to. They lost 8-1 to the Steele Comets on Tuesday. The Explorers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Hudson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shawna Baylor, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Steele, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-8.

Hudson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Steele, they will be taking part in a tournament against Twinsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
