Barry County Christian entered their tilt with Libertas Christian on Monday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Libertas Christian. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Barry County Christian was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-4.

Lillia Hamilton paced Barry County Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hamilton got some help from Avah Lilley and her nine assists. Lilley also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Maddy Denton, each putting up 11.

Barry County Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Libertas Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Barry County Christian will square off against West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Libertas Christian will be paying especially close attention to Barry County Christian's contest: after Barry County Christian faces off against Varsity Opponent, they'll take on Libertas Christian again at 5:30 p.m. on October 9.
