Basketball Recap: Heart Butte Takes a Loss

Heart Butte lost against Two Eagle River back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Heart Butte Warriors were beaten by the Two Eagle River Eagles 66-39.

Heart Butte's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Two Eagle River, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-2.

Heart Butte will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Great Falls Central Catholic at 2:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Two Eagle River, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
