Groce Posts Huge Game in 35-20 Defeat
Peyton Groce posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 199 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (124.5) per game. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 59 yards.
Groce and Gordon Lee will host Chattooga at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Chattooga will enter the matchup having just beaten Armuchee, so Gordon Lee will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
