Basketball Recap: Hortonville Falls Short Against Ranked Arrowhead

On Saturday, Hortonville faced Arrowhead in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Hortonville Polar Bears lost 64-44 to the Arrowhead Warhawks. The Polar Bears have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Natalie Kussow continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Arrowhead, almost dropping a double-double with 30 points and nine rebounds. The game was Kussow's seventh in a row with at least 22 points. Another player making a difference was Sidney Zehner, who posted 19 points.

Hortonville's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Arrowhead, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-3.

As of now, neither Hortonville nor Arrowhead have any future games scheduled.
