Football Recap: Aurora Central Takes a Loss

Aurora Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 19-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Denver North Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 30-13 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Chase Pittman, who picked up 45 receiving yards and two scores. Those two receiving touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Aurora Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Denver North, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6.

As of now, neither Aurora Central nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
