Basketball Recap: Proctor Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lakes International Language Academy last Monday, Proctor came back down to earth. The Proctor Rails took a hard 68-50 fall against the Cloquet Lumberjacks on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Rails can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Lumberjacks are ranked 118th).

Proctor's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Cloquet, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-6.

As of now, neither Proctor nor Cloquet have any future games scheduled.
