Football Recap: Fillmore Flashes vs. Santa Paula Cardinals
Fillmore was the 37-35 winner over Santa Paula when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Fillmore Flashes came up short against the Santa Paula Cardinals on Friday, falling 31-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Flashes have suffered against the Cardinals since September 15, 2017.

It was another big night for Allen Macias, who rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns for Santa Paula. Fillmore is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8. As for Santa Paula, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
