Volleyball Recap: Marquand-Zion Comes Up Short

Marquand-Zion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Leopold Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11, 25-9.

Marquand-Zion's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Leopold, they have been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4-2 record this season.

Marquand-Zion will be playing in front of their home fans against Oak Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Leopold, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Festus on the 11th.
