Baseball Recap: Plainfield East Gets the Win

Plainfield East won against Macomb on Friday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. Plainfield East beat the Genoa-Kingston Cogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bengals.

Plainfield East now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Genoa-Kingston, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Plainfield East didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-9 tie against Antioch on the 23rd. As for Genoa-Kingston, they will head out to face off against Forreston at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st.
