Basketball Recap: Curlew Cougars vs. Republic Tigers
Curlew was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by the Republic Tigers 72-28. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Despite the defeat, Curlew saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jake Olson went 5 for 10 en route to 11 points. Luke Doyen was another key player, putting up five points and six rebounds.
