Basketball Game Preview: Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets vs. Ridgedale Rockets

The Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets are taking a road trip to challenge the Ridgedale Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cory-Rawson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Tuesday, Cory-Rawson came up short against Fostoria and fell 64-52. The Fighting Hornets have struggled against the Redmen recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Ridgedale lost to Ada at home by a 31-17 margin on Saturday. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cory-Rawson's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Ridgedale, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Cory-Rawson beat Ridgedale 51-44 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cory-Rawson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
