Football Game Preview: Western New York Maritime Charter Commodores vs. Akron Tigers

On Wednesday, Western New York Maritime Charter was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 12-7 to Buffalo Academy of Science.

Meanwhile, after only six points in their last game, Akron made sure to put some points up on the board against Lewiston-Porter on Wednesday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 32-6 margin over the Lancers. Considering the Tigers' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

With the victory, Akron broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6-1. As for Western New York Maritime Charter, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.
