Football Recap: Stamford Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Stamford, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 28-21 win over the Anson Tigers on Friday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Stamford didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Josh Andruch, C'Nai Whitfield, and Levi Vahlenkamp picked up one apiece. Whitfield has been hot, having also posted five or more total tackles the last six times he's played.

Stamford now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Anson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.
