Taylor entered their tilt with Columbia Christian on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Taylor's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Columbia Christian, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2.
