Baseball Game Preview: Denmark vs. Alpharetta Raiders

For the second straight game, Denmark will face off against Alpharetta. Denmark will be playing at home against Alpharetta at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Denmark got a great performance from Sebastein Walsh as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. That's the most strikeouts Walsh has posted since back in March.

On the hitting side, Denmark saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Althardt, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Denmark hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive games.

Denmark pushed their record up to 17-12 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Alpharetta, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-22.
