After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Simon Kenton, Walton-Verona was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Grant County Braves 60-35. The Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Walton-Verona has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Grant County, they dropped their record down to 7-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Walton-Verona wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-57 loss against Holy Cross on the 1st. As for Grant County, they will square off against Ludlow at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
