            Softball Recap: Cleveland Rams vs. D.H. Conley Vikings        
        
		
        
        
            Cleveland extended their losing streak  to four  on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 20-8 in the process. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  6-2 to the D.H. Conley Vikings, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Vikings this season,  with their most recent  defeat being a  6-2  loss  on Thursday.

 Karsyn Hudacky was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she  tossed six innings while giving up  three earned  (and three unearned) runs off   six  hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 20 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, one  triple,  and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Kendall Gaunt made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with one  home run.
As for D.H. Conley, the  victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 25-5. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games.
On D.H. Conley's side,  Madison Anderson looked comfortable as she  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Reagan Stocks, who  went 1-for-2 with one  triple and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Harper Bradley, who  got on base  in two of her four plate appearances with two  runs and one  stolen base.
As of now, neither Cleveland nor D.H. Conley have any future games scheduled.
