Basketball Recap: Xavier Ledet Key Part of a Team Effort in Cobras Win

Cactus's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the North Canyon Rattlers by a score of 61-48. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cobras as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Cactus' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Xavier Ledet led the charge by putting up 13 points and three steals. Dominic Duran was another key player, posting 12 points.

Cactus' victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for North Canyon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Cactus will square off against Paradise Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Paradise Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Cactus likes a good challenge. As for North Canyon, they will take on Youngker at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Canyon is facing Youngker at the right time seeing as Youngker is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
