Volleyball Recap: Holdrege Extends Winning Streak to Three

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Holdrege had no problem doing just that on Friday. They skirted past the Concordia Mustangs 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Dusters sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Ellie Pelster was nothing short of spectacular: she had 29 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October. Another player making a difference was Jaclyn Nelson, who had nine digs and one assist.

When it comes to explaining why Concordia lost, don't look at Kyra McNair. Despite the final result, she had 32 digs and four assists.

Holdrege's win bumped their record up to 24-9. As for Concordia, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 30-9.

Holdrege has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Milford on the 8th. As for Concordia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Malcolm on the 8th.
