Edison and Liberty-Benton squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Edison had to settle for second. They lost 12-2 to the Eagles. The Chargers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 23-4. As for Liberty-Benton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty-Benton, they will be taking part in a tournament against Coldwater at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cavaliers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
