Volleyball Recap: Midd-West Takes a Loss

Midd-West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Danville Ironmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ironmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Wednesday.

While Midd-West ultimately came up short, they really made Danville work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15, 21-25, 28-26.

Midd-West's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Danville, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Midd-West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Danville, they will face off against Loyalsock Township at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
