Baseball Recap: Banning Gets the Win

The Banning Pilots were able to grind out a solid victory over the Legacy Tigers on Friday, taking the game 5-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pilots.

Banning's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was AJ Herrera, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Banning's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Legacy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

Banning has already played their next match, a 5-4 win against South on the 26th. As for Legacy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-1 victory against Huntington Park on the 28th.
