Baseball Recap: Hawaii Prep Ka Makani vs. Pahoa Daggers

Hawaii Prep unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Pahoa Daggers by a score of 12-10 on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Ka Makani in their matchups with the Daggers: they've now lost five in a row.

Nishiki Iwai was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
