Basketball Recap: Lift for Life Academy Takes a Loss

Lift for Life Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 62-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Capital City Cavaliers.

Lift for Life Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Capital City, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Lift for Life Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 80-33 victory against Roosevelt on the 10th. As for Capital City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 84-58 defeat against Battle on the 11th.
