Athens/PORTA's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Lutheran/Calvary as Athens/PORTA made off with a 9-0 win. It was an even better day for Karsyn Jacoby as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Litchfield was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Jacksonville could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Athens/PORTA was able to grind out a solid win over Litchfield in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Athens/PORTA since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
