Volleyball Game Preview: Amery Warriors vs. Webster Tigers

Amery is 1-6 against Webster since September of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Warriors will take on the Tigers in a tournament on Saturday.

Amery lost 3-0 to Altoona on Thursday.

Amery was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-23, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Webster had already won 19 in a row and they went ahead and made it 20 on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Evergreens.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Webster took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-8, 25-15.

Webster's win bumped their record up to 23-1. As for Amery, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.

Amery couldn't quite get it done against Webster when the teams last played back in September of 2023 as they fell 2-0. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
