Emerson is a perfect 5-0 against Centennial since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mavericks will venture away from home to face off against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Last Friday, Emerson came up short against Memorial and fell 5-2. The match marked the Mavericks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Emerson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Hudnall, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Centennial fell victim to Lebanon Trail and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Trail Blazers, falling 8-0. The Titans have struggled against the Trail Blazers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Emerson, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8.

Emerson took their victory against Centennial in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 14-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mavericks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
