Oakwood posted their biggest victory since December 4, 2024 on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the De Toledo Jaguars with a sharp 72-46 win. Given the Owls' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 405th, while the Jaguars are ranked 907th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got Oakwood back to even at 8-8. As for de Toledo, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Oakwood will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on AGBU at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for de Toledo, they will head out to square off against Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
